Let's chat all cream products... YAY or NAY?!

Cream products

Beauties, its been a while since I last posted on my blog. But alas, I am back and I will be chatting all things cream make up products related on my blog. So what do you beauties think of cream products?? Have you tried any and what was your first reaction to a cream product?

Let's dive in shall we??!!

So the make up / beauty industry has changed for me in a big way. Not only are beauty copies co ming out with more and more products everyday { which can be exhausting } but I also feel like the beauty space is moving into a more natural, sun filled space that allows you to be and create whatever you want. I feel this is where the cream products have come in recently. A lot of beauty companies have come out with a tinted foundation, a cream blush, or cream contour palette and so on for their consumer... and can I tell you I am here for it 100%.

I have tested and tried out quiet a few cream products in the past 3 months and I feel like it's been the best thing yet for me...let me explain.

I have learnt that less is more when using any cream product and that's why this whole cream make up trend has taken off so well with beauty companies. People don't want to have any struggle with make up!

These products in the picture above are just some of my favourite cream products at the moment - from the Huda glowish foundation and Fenty skin tint, to the cream blushes from Dominique Cosmetics. All these products blend and buff out sooooo seamlessly on the skin, which is why I think its become such a hit among consumers. Not only is it easy to use and looks super pretty - especially great packaging on a product, but I really think this is the way forward now when it comes to make up.

I love me any powder product, especially when I want to have a full glam beat of make up for the day or night, but I'm leaning a little more towards cream products nowadays - also the skin tint foundations that are coming out now are just SO gorgeous and look like your own skin, just better, which is amazing for the summer time when you don't want to feel like you are wearing anything heavy on the skin.

Then you get all these beautiful blushes, like these ones in the picture I mentioned. Not only are the colors a good shade selection for all skin tones, but also you can build up any cream product, which I think alot of people forget. So you just apply the right amount of product onto the skin and build up to the desired amount you want. It's not like a powder, that once the pigment is on your skin, it's difficult to get off - also if you go in with a heavy hand by accident and can't correct your mistake. No one wants that!!! Also I feel like when it comes to contouring, a lot of the beauty brands have stepped up their game. Look at Saie and even Elf cosmetics that have brought out a cream bronzer that is affordable for the consumer. You don't need the most expensive cream products out there, believe me their are many dupes for this, you just need to find your correct shade or colour you like and that fits your skin type and go for it!

So, my point in all of this is that try something different, try opening up your beauty mind to some cream products and see if it works for you. If it does, good for you, if not, well at least you tried it and you know you would rather stick to your powder products or any thing else you have been using.

I'm really impressed with what I've been trying lately and I can't wait to see what the make up companies bring out next for us influencers, make up artists and consumers to use, test and try out.
